Counseling Center

The Marian University Counseling Center offers free, 为所有在校生提供保密咨询协助. 提供的各种服务包括个人和团体咨询, crisis intervention, educational programs, consultations, and referrals to off-campus counseling resources.

  • Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics
  • Advanced Algebra and Functions

Accuplacer is an un-timed, adaptive computer test. 自适应技术根据之前问题的答案选择符合个人能力水平的问题.  Since the multiple-choice tests are untimed, the tester can take as much time as needed for each question.  然而，一旦选择了答案，测试人员就不能返回到问题中进行更改. Time varies from one to two hours depending on the individual student; however, 任何在考试期间有残疾证明的学生都应该提前联系残疾服务协调员，以确保所有必要的文件都已存档.

To help prepare for the exam, students can choose to review basic concepts in arithmetic, algebra and advanced algebra and functions, and reading and writing. Students may find GED, ACT或SAT复习书(书店和公共图书馆有售)有助于复习基本技能. 学生还可以通过访问以下网站为Accuplacer做准备:
